As a life long learner, I believe that teaching and education needs to be ever changing in order to meet new learners. Students and teachers are ever evolving and growing while trying to utilize a rigid framework. As an educator I believe in the power of struggle and exploration. As a learner I believe in the joy of guided learning and self study. Teaching is not meant to be teacher centered or data driven but rather a work of igniting interest and intrigue in students to learn and grow through practices that build a love for learning rather than achieving a test score.

Instructional technology is an opportunity to design and create learning tools that can reinforce and reinvent traditional teaching methods. In a society that is ever changing and becoming incredibly technology driven, Instructional Technology is imperative to teaching and strengthening todays skills while creating sustainable and living resources.
