Finally, I reflect upon my time as a self-appointed goguardian representative. BCPS supplies teachers with access to goguardian a web-based tool that allows for educators to assist students who are working on a school chromebook through monitoring and limited screen access capabilities. As a tech liaison who is well versed in this tool, I have greatly supported teachers by supplying crash courses and the information necessary connect and utilize this digital tool to promote student success (ISTE coach 5b). This training and artifact of my professional growth and development aligns with the Coach standards of 1,3, and 5. With my success in this supportive technology I have motivated and encouraged other teachers who had witnessed the student distractions and challenges with accountability when teaching remotely (ISTE coach 7b).

My ability to make this resource work for me resonated with teammates and other staff members to promote student engagement and time on task. This tool impacted and improved instruction bridging the gap for students who are learning to navigate between tabs and applications. When a course is open on Goguardian with the scenes I have set, I know that all students who are logged into our meeting are focused and working on approved content. In addition, I have evaluated its impact and have been responsive to teachers and students need with sharing classes and changing scenes for students in multiple pull outs and interventions (ISTE coach 5c). With ongoing updates and changes to digital instructional tools I have enjoyed sending updates and feedback to users on this platform and have heard of great success using their greater knowledge on Goguardian to positively impact their instruction.
